Recently, a photo restoring the CCTV footage of the suspect in Goo Ha-ra’s safe thief case provided by SBS’s program “Unanswered Questions” in high definition spread in online communities.
The photo shows the face of the suspect after removing the glow from the night camera shoot. In addition, photos with better-quality details processed through a restoration app were also posted.
Earlier on the 22nd, “Unanswered Questions” aired an episode about the theft of Goo Ha-ra’s safe and the process of tracking the identity of the thief in the CCTV footage recorded at Goo Ha-ra’s house. Goo Ha-ra’s brother Goo Ho-in said, “I already took everything important out of the safe while organizing it. When the thief stole it, he just took an empty one”. It is known that the thief ran away with a 31-kg safe without searching the house for anything else.
By receiving expert advice and examination, “Unanswered Questions” was able to specify the thief’s appearance, claiming that he wore an earring on his left year and was in his late 20s to early 30s. This person is reportedly about 170cm tall and has a big body. The program added, “His jaw is long and his cheekbones slightly protrude”.
As the CCTV photo spread online, some people pointed out that the thief looked like Zico, causing rumors to spread. In response, Zico’s agency denied it and announced strong legal action against malicious rumors and false information.
